Instructions – Read this first!

The Mock Exams are designed based on the format and structure of the actual exam at the moment. This structure and difficulty level may vary a little bit in your actual exam.

You are advised to treat this Mock Exam like your actual exam to get the best out of the results. AFTER you’ve completed your exam, we will send you a recap and written suggestions.

You are also advised to DO LISTENING, READING, AND WRITING in one sitting (like the actual exam). That will require you to have about 3 hours at your disposal to complete.

If you need a bathroom break, the clock does NOT pause. Just like the actual exam.

If you are taking the Paper-based exam, you should open the test files below, download the answer sheets (download below) and complete your answers by writing on the answer sheets.

Rules – DO NOT break!

The order and rules of the exam skills are as follows.

 1. First exam skill: Listening – 40 minutes.

  • Listen ONLY ONE TIME! No pausing in between.
  • ONLY if you are taking the paper-based exam, you get 10 minutes after the recording is over to transfer your answer to the answer sheet. Download the answer sheet here: Click here.

2. Second exam skill: Reading – 60 minutes.

  • DO NOT exceed the time limit. By the 60th minute, you must stop the exam.
  • You are NOT ALLOWED to use any help, including the use of a dictionary.
  • If you are taking the Paper-based exam, you can have the files printed out. Download the answer sheets here: Click here.

3. Third exam skill: Writing – 60 minutes

  • DO NOT exceed the time limit.
  • If you are taking the Paper-based exam, open the test below and you will find ways to submit your writing to get evaluations. Download the answer sheets here: Click here.
  • The evaluations will be available within 24 hours.

4. Fourth exam skills: Speaking

  • The evaluations are done via the 1-1 Speaking Mock Exam.
  • Choose an exam time slot from the Full Mock Exam – Speaking under Common skills below.
